The Rum Rebel Roue is an explosive concoction that marries the sweetness of plátano aguardiente and guava purée with the earthy undertones of Cuban rum. The inclusion of Pulque Blanco lends a subtle, light effervescence to this daring blend.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Aguardiente de Plátano
  • 1/2 oz Pulque Blanco
  • 1 tsp Guava Purée
  • 2 oz Cuban Rum Añejo
  • 1 oz Fresh Pineapple Juice
  • For garnish Lime Wheel

Instructions

  • Combine the Aguardiente de Plátano and Pulque Blanco in a shaker with ice.
  • Add Guava Purée, Cuban Rum Añejo, and Fresh Pineapple Juice.
  • Shake well until chilled.
  • Strain into a highball glass filled with fresh ice.
