For me, cocktails are not just about the taste but also the story behind them. This Smoke and Sparks Over the Pyrotechnic Punch is my nod to the grand fireworks displays of yore. The aged bourbon provides a deep smoky foundation while the amaretto adds a sweet contrast, balanced perfectly with the bitter notes of bitters syrup. Topped off with ginger beer, it's refreshing and effervescent - just like watching those magnificent fireworks in person.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Aged Bourbon
  • 1/2 oz Amaretto Liqueur
  • 0.5 oz Bitters Syrup
  • 6 oz Chilled Ginger Beer

Instructions

  • Combine aged bourbon, amaretto liqueur and bitters syrup in a shaker with ice.
  • Shake until well chilled and strain into a highball glass filled with ice.
  • Top up with chilled ginger beer for effervescence.
