The classic Gin Fizz is a timeless cocktail that showcases the botanicals of gin. The egg white adds a silky texture, while the lemon juice provides a nice balance of citrus. This drink is best enjoyed on a warm day, preferably at an outdoor cafe.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Gin
  • 3/4 oz Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 oz Simple Syrup (1:1)
  • 1 white Egg White
  • 6-8 oz Club Soda

Instructions

  • Shake all ingredients except the club soda vigorously for 12-15 seconds
  • Strain into a chilled Collins glass filled with ice
  • Top with 6-8 oz of club soda and garnish with lemon wheel or twist
